A.J. Demers is host of the feature "". "" is a comedic commentary series covering a broad range of topics from politics to entertainment. Demers provides a new perspective and a unique brand of satirical humor in this feature.
A.J started his career as a writer and performer while at the University of Calgary. He studied Astrophysics, Geography, Philosophy, Psychology and English before graduating with his degree.
Following his passion for theatre A.J has been very active in the Calgary theatre scene writing and directing. He has been performing at Calgary's Improvisation Theatre, Loose Moose since 1991. Some other theatre highlights include performing and dancing in One Yellow Rabbit's Radioheaded and playing Tiny Tim in A Chrismoose Carol. A.J has also traveled all across North America and the world with shows like Bjorn Again, the ABBA experience and performing in numerous cities and festivals like the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Melbourne Comedy Festival.
In 2006, "" was honored to receive the "Sam Ross Award" from the RTNDA in the category of best editorial coverage in the Prairie Region.

A Bachelor Degree in Humanities---majors in English and Psychology.
Extracurricular
When not on T.V or on stage, A.J purses his passion for practicing and teaching yoga. In his spare time, he can also be found reading (almost anything) and working on writing his novel.
