Host, Your City
Sandra joined the Your City team in January of 2008 after a 22 year broadcasting career that saw her hosting a weekly talk show in Montreal and anchoring the primetime slot at CTV Newsnet in Toronto where she spent 10 years in the National newsroom. But the lure of hometown Calgary pulled her back and she has embraced her new role with characteristic enthusiasm.
Sandra divides her time between the Citytv newsroom, her studies as a university student enrolled in a Master of Arts program, and the responsibility of being a mom to an energetic 8 year old daughter.
Extra-curricular
In what little time she has left over, Sandra has nurtured a painting career that recently included designing and painting the awards for the 2008 United Way Spirits of Gold Ceremony. Sandra's artwork is displayed in a number of corporate spaces in the Toronto area, as well as adorning the home of some of Canada's media luminaries.
