Host, Breakfast Television
Born in Ottawa and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Dave started his professional career as a junior high teacher. After eight years in education, he decided to shift his career to the world of the arts and spent the next few years in Theatres across Canada. From Calgary to Toronto and back to Edmonton Dave acted on stage while learning the TV business in his spare time - eventually producing and hosting Helptv on Access Television in Edmonton. After two years of hosting educational television, Dave moved to Calgary to host morning television. For the past eight years, Dave's sense of humor and connection to the community has made Breakfast Television one of Calgary's most popular morning shows. Dave has been chosen as one of Calgary Magazine's Top 40 under 40 for four straight years.
He has been nominated twice and won the Alberta Motion Picture Industry Association's Best Host award. In 2002, Calgary Mayor Dave Bronconnier presented him with the White Hat Award for his tireless volunteer work with such charities as the Kids Cancer Care Foundation. Most recently Dave was honored to emcee the special tribute celebration for the Queen's visit to Calgary in May 2005.

Dave has lent his talent and enthusiasm for countless hours, volunteering as host, emcee or keynote speaker for the Calgary community. Dave is one of the most sought after personalities to host or appear at events in the city of Calgary. When he’s not working, he enjoys keeping active by competing in various triathlons around the city of Calgary.
