Two teams battle it out to design and build the best house on the block, from frame to finish.

Imagine being given the chance to build your dream home and never have to pay a dime on the mortgage. In My RONA Home, Elissa Lansdell gives two specially-selected families the opportunity of a lifetime – to build the home and the future they have always dreamed of.

Working with their experts, they will design, construct and decorate a brand new home in just ten weeks, room by room. Every make-or-break challenge is a race against the clock, because they get no more than 30 hours to radically transform empty rooms.

With each grueling challenge, the competition intensifies as these families struggle to out-build, out-design and out-decorate one another.

Who deserves to win their dream home in the end? That’s up to Canada, because every week, viewers vote on all the two couple’s hard work, and the results are revealed in a spectacular season finale.

At stake, the home they’ve always dreamed of loaded with furniture, appliances and electronics -- a prize package of more than $450,000!

After a grueling ten weeks, one family’s life will be transformed in an instant.
