Show Description:
The Dead Zone follows the story of Johnny Smith, played by Anthony Michael Hall (The Breakfast Club, The Pirates of Silicon Valley, 61). Johnny's world is destroyed when a car accident leaves him in a coma. When he awakens 6 years after the accident, the life he once knew is gone: his fiancée, Sarah (Nicole deBoer / Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) has married; his mother has died. And Johnny now possesses disturbing psychic powers. Befriended by his physical therapist, Bruce (John L. Adams / Pacific Blue), Johnny must adapt to a new life while learning to deal with his paranormal abilities. David Ogden Stiers (M*A*S*H, Lilo & Stitch) stars as Johnny's legal guardian, Reverend Gene Purdy; Chris Bruno (All My Children, Another World) plays Sarah's husband, Sheriff Walter Bannerman.
