A Calgary-based website called Communitycloth.com, which launches at the end of this month, will soon host pages for independent, non-mainstream designers in the U.S. and Canada. Web designer, David Roberts, says the site will be similar to Facebook. It will allow designers to upload their fashions, pictures, links, and even give feed back. It will also have pictures taken by the public of individuals with a sense of style in Calgary, upload them and then be judged by a panel of expert judges. For now Roberts is hoping local designers will join his online fashion scene.
