Cool Spaces: Jaro Blue
Your City's Aisling Slattery shows us this week's Cool Space called Jaro Blue.

Today more and more restaurants and cocktail bars are popping up all over the place, but a brand new cocktail and tapas lounge on 17th avenue south west is like nothing else you've seen in Calgary. Jaro Blue opened their doors a couple of months ago and it's already become a popular spot. At only 15 hundred square feet this intimate lounge can only hold about 35 people. The interiors have a retro hotel lobby feel, with tufted crushed velvet banquettes and massive photographs of Sable Island horses. Almost all of the furniture was designed locally, but include materials from over seas, like African ebony tables, Portuguese limestone and ceiling lamps imported from Turkey.
