We tend to think of Remembrance Day as honoring Canadian Soldiers killed a long time ago, far from home. Students at Bishop Carroll High School in Calgary now understand that Remembrance Day has become a tribute to Canadian troops barely older than themselves. The point was brought home to the students by Linda Loree whose 24 year old son, Nathan Hornburg, was killed in Afghanistan six weeks ago. The Bishop Carroll service was one of dozens held in Calgary schools this week.
