Success Stories: Cam Inglis
The sweet, sweet taste of success.

- - - STORY CONTINUES BELOW IMAGE - - -
Four years ago, Cam Inglis stopped selling houses and started selling ice cream. Today he has dozens of stores across the country with more planned for 2008. We find out his advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.

Cam Inglis approached ice cream with cool calculation. Discovering an under-served Calgary market for high end cones, he quit his job in real estate and enlisted some help from business partners. After investigating an ice cream concept called 'The Marble Slab' based out of Houston, they knew the Canadian market would deem the store a winner.

They started the first Marble Slab store four years ago in Chinook Centre and immediately the concept took off. Today, Cam has 46 stores across Canada with more on the way in 2008.

By combining high quality ice cream with other dessert style ingredients, The Marble Slab has created a unique ice cream experience in which every visit offers new opportunities to create different combinations of tasty frozen favourites.

His three simple rules for success can be found in our video clip.
