It's not your usual activity, but it's something that Terry Halden has been dedicated to for years. He ventures into the wilds of Montana in search of retired mining districts and abandoned buildings. It's called Ghost Town Hunting.
"They're hidden, I found a lot of them that weren't on the original map shall we say, and we've got them back on the map now," tells Halden.
According to Halden, it doesn't take an expert of any sort to hunt for ghost towns. Grab a map and a camera and you're good-to-go. Of course there's a code all ghost town hunters have to follow. "When you're ghost town hunting there are two things you must adhere to: Leave nothing but footprints, and take nothing but photographs," explains Halden.
