Published in the 18th century, Pierre Ambroise François Choderlos de Laclos's famously scandalous novel of seduction, libertinage and revenge, 'Les Liaisons dangereuses,' has been enjoyed for centuries in various media and versions. One of the more famous being Stephen Frears's 1988 acclaimed film starring Glenn Close, Michele Pfeiffer and John Malkovich.
