Van Sandwyk has made a worldwide name for himself in the field of book illustrations and is often compared to the great illustrators of the Victorian era.
His art recalls the classic illustration methods of the golden age of etching artists of such classic tales such as ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘The Wizard of Oz.’ 


Van Sandwyk most recently etched a new version of the classic children's story, ‘The Wind in the Willows.’
