Wikipedia is the biggest multilingual free-content encyclopedia on the internet - it's also the basis for Calgary Economic Development's lastest project.
Calgarypedia.com has been up and running for only a couple days and already hundreds of people have contributed information.
It's a user-driven site about all things Calgary, from the stampede to nightlife to transportation.
Calgary Economic Development hopes citizens contribute to the site so it becomes the place where people everywhere go for information about the city.
"We are talking to the digital natives," says Bruce Graham, President of CED. He added, "the people who have been online since they could type on a keyboard, they're the new workforce for Calgary.
