Tip #4: Fake Eyelashes 101
Does the idea of applying fake eyelashes make you nervous? Totally understandable. Between the glue, the delicate nature of the lashes themselves, and the potential for error, it can be a daunting prospect.
But the results are absolutely worth it, as you'll see in the latest Tracy's Tricks post.
One tip from Tracy P. is to let the eyelash glue get a bit tacky on your hand before dragging the row of lashes through it.
"Wait about 10-15 seconds. You don't want to do it when it's fresh out of the tube because it's not going to stick right away," she says.
Wave the lashes around a bit, and then rest them against the natural lash line, at the mid-point (watch the video for Tracy's demonstration). Use your fingers, or tweezers, to gently press both ends of the fake lashes against the lash line. Then wait for a few seconds before fully opening your eyes.
While the glue is drying just dab the fake lashes really lightly to help ensure the lashes stay put.
