From Frizzy to Curly: Black Hair Care Secrets

Caring for your curls is always a challenge but it’s more difficult for black women whose hair tends to be drier. Grace Tartaglia shows one woman how to manage her very curly, frizzy hair.

Method

  1. Put a nice soft colour in the hair for more curl definition. Use a gentle developer that won’t dry out the hair.


  2. Shampoo the hair with a moisturizing shampoo.


  3. Apply a gel to define the curls. Later divide the hair into large sections and twist so the curls fall in little corkscrews or spirals.
