This makeover was done by hairstylist Bill Angst of Angst Hair and makeup artist Genny Day.
I’m working with a new trend where women wear their hair off their faces as opposed to covering their faces. I will bring up her length a bit to give it more definition and accentuate the bone structure at her collar bone. She will also be given strong brows and a red lip.
Genny the makeup artist applied Cargo Envy lipstick on her lips. If this colour is too strong, you can blot it with a tissue so it’s not so bright. That’s what was done for Jill.
Jill has a beautiful bone structure and a nice jawline. With her hair off her face, worn casually, she looks like a young Candice Bergen.
Most haircuts today should be versatile. For example, Jill can wear her hair down or wispy around the face, the way she likes it, because she doesn’t want to spend a lot of time on it.
The best trick for getting hair away from your face is to spray a brush with a little hairspray, brush it back and let it dry. You create soft, natural movement through the sides.
