Grace: One of the reasons I picked her is I thought she had beautiful eyes and a beautiful face. She has fine hair, so we’re going to give it lots of texture and movement, something that’s really easy for her to take care of. The trend for this season tends to be a lot more romantic and soft, and not so hard-edged. We’re going to keep that feeling in her hair as well and just reshape it. I am going to go a little shorter, because I do find that it’s pulling her down a little bit, so I’d like to re-sculpt her hair for her face.
Dino: First of all, she does such a wonderful job on her own makeup, so we’re just going to show her something new and glam it up. We’re going to use false eyelashes as well.
Grace: It’s fun and flirty – but you know, one of the things she wanted to do was slim down her face a little bit and I think the haircut really does that. I really just cleaned up the lines of her hair. The trends that are coming up for spring and even now, are soft and romantic – ladies, you’re going to have to bring your curling irons back out, none of those flat irons anymore. She’s lucky enough to have her own wave, so to style your hair, you’d just put in some volumizing mousse, and then scrunch your hair and then go through it with a dime-size curling iron.
Dino: Look at those peepers! Joanne’s so fortunate to have a great mouth as well, and I always tell ladies with great mouths to go into a lip-gloss or liquid lipstick, some that just has one step – no lip liner. She also has false eyelashes on. A good tip is to put your eyelashes on before you do your mascara. Let the lashes dry, and then put your mascara on overtop so you’re blending your real lashes with your fake ones – and no one will be able to tell that you have false lashes on.
