This makeover was done by hairstylist Grace Tartaglia of Image Makeover and makeup artist Dino Dilio of Dino Dilio Beauty.
Grace: We’re going to improve on a classic. She had gone from really long hair to this shorter hair, so we don’t want to really take her too much shorter. But, I am going to re-sculpt it, so it’s tighter at the back and the sides, and leave the layers longer at the front, with a little bit more volume on the top. We’re really just improving a classic.
Dino: She’s got a great face; I’m just going to brighten her up for spring. She does a great job with her makeup but I just want to show her some new colours that’ll just give her that added ‘boost of sunshine.’
Grace: The bob was just a little long for her face, so what I did is graduated it up the back to give her some lift, and tightened it in on the sides. So now she has a lot nicer shape and it is a lot more modern. But it’s still a classic, she’s beautiful, and she’s happy I didn’t cut it all off!
Dino: She’s a classic beauty and I just polished her up! I used some burgundy, bronze and nude eye shadows, and just carried it on through the rest of her face. Grace from MAC lent me some lip gloss called Viva Glam Glass, and it’s really pretty. It has just the right amount of brown and plum in there for her.
