Photographer Tara Sinclair Hingco shares her advice on how to get a good photo of Santa and the little ones.

1. You will never get your picture-perfect photo if you child is sick, tired or hungry. Aim to bring your child to Santa after a meal or naptime so that they are in the best possible mood.

2. Bring along a small treat or bribe. Let them know that they will get it after they have visited Santa.

3. Have your child bring along a stuffed animal or a favorite toy that makes them feel safe and comfortable while they sit with Santa.

4. Smile and stand right behind the photographer so that your child is looking at the camera, not off to the side.

5. Get into the picture with your child. If your child doesn't want to be alone why not take the opportunity to be in the picture with Santa. Make it part of your yearly Santa pictures. It will be a great keepsake for you
and your family.
