Q. Can you recommend a good hairstylist in Toronto?
A. Visit our Fashion & Beauty Makeovers page and browse or search past makeovers. Once you find a hairstyle that you like, consult our Experts page for a list of stylists and our Salon Price List.

Q. How can I get information from a past show?
A. Call the CityLine show information line at (416) 764-7173 to access a daily-recorded message or check our website. If you have further questions please leave a message at info@cityline.ca.

Q. What if I need to cancel my audience reservation?
A. To cancel more than two days in advance, please call (416) 764-7173 and press 1. 

Q. How can I get chosen for a makeover?
A. This is one of the most asked questions. Every Friday is makeover day. You must be a member of the audience to be considered for a makeover. (See show reservations for information on how to be a part of the CityLine audience.) The hairstylist chooses the makeover model from the audience before the show and is looking for someone with clean hair who is willing to have a dramatic change. You must be willing to cut, not trim, your hair.

Q. Do you have internships at CityLine?
A. Yes, we do have internship opportunities at CityLine. We only consider students at the post-secondary level of education. They must be studying Radio and Television, Media, Journalism or Broadcasting, and the internship must be part of their school curriculum. There are two unpaid internship positions available per term. Each term is four months in duration, from September to December, January to April and May to August. Both positions require a commitment from the student. These positions are full time, five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:45 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

The internships are focused on production. The day-to-day pace is a hectic one and requires students with maturity, initiative, and enthusiasm.

Should you fulfill the requirements and wish to apply for one of the positions, please forward a resume and cover letter indicating which term you would like, as well as the student placement officer's name and phone number. At present, we are no longer taking applications for our May - August 2010 term. If you wish to apply for the September - December term, please forward your application by the end of May 2010 to:

• Gardiner Expressway East - York St. Exit toward Bay/Yonge Street, North on Yonge Street, Right/East at Shuter St., Left/North at Victoria Street to Dundas Street.
• Gardiner Expressway West/DVP - Yonge Street Exit, merge north on Yonge Street, Right/East at Shuter St., Left/North at Victoria Street to Dundas Street.

* Please note: you cannot turn left/right onto Dundas from Yonge St. at any time.
