Karen Sealy
Interior Designer Karen Sealy is equally at ease in a hardhat or heels – and her passion and deep-rooted knowledge of the two distinct sides of design set her apart in her field. Karen was lucky enough to grow up with a father in the trades, giving her first-hand experience of the more technical aspects of renovation and construction, and introducing her to a world she would come to love and pursue.
With formal training in interior design and a degree in business and psychology, she is well prepared to create fabulous spaces that meet emotional and functional needs, that look and feel great, and stay on track and on budget.
Karen, owner of Sealy Design Inc., is a regular décor expert on the national TV show, CityLine. She was also the winner of HGTV’s Designer SuperStar Challenge and has been featured in the New York Times, Elle Décor, Style at Home, and all of Canada’s national newspapers as well as many other media outlets. Karen loves to share her enthusiasm for good design - just spend a few minutes with her and you’ll either hire her, or consider a career change.
