Lana is an Edmonton girl, born and raised. She grew up in Mill Woods where she graduated from W.P. Wagner School of Science and Technology. It was during her time spent as a student union leader in high school, that she decided to pursue a career in television. Even before Lana graduated with honours from NAIT's Radio and Television broadcasting program in 1998, she was volunteering at the newly launched A-Channel. Within a few months, she completed her practicum at the station as a writer and has been with CityNews team ever since.
Extracurricular
Lana is also a wedding planner, and in her spare time loves shopping and hanging out with her husband Ryan and their pup, Jack. She is a big supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
