Legislative Reporter
Sudha Krishnan hails from La Belle Ville, Montreal in La Belle Province, of Quebec. But for the past 5 years, she's become a prairie girl. During her 4 years in Montreal, she worked everywhere. From community newspapers, local community access television -- then on to CTV, CBC and Global Television. She covered everything from Hell's Angels Trials to the Quebec Ice Storm of 1998. In 2001, she got the call to anchor and report the news in Regina. That's where she spent 4 years travelling across Saskatchewan -- rode a few combines, covered the Grey Cup, became a Rider Fan, and fell in love with provincial politics and five-bowling. In October 2005, Citytv Edmonton offered her the job as Legislative Reporter. She has the privilege of covering Alberta politics when one of the most colorful politicians in Canadian history is leaving. But Sudha isn't all about politics. She wanted to become a journalist to give a voice to those you don't normally hear from. She has a passion for stories about visible minority women in particular.
