Remote Weather Host, Your City
A native Torontonian, Asha has crisscrossed the country from the East to the West. Her love for the Citytv style developed in her last year at the University of Windsor, when she completed a year-long internship at The New WI in Windsor, Ontario. From there, Asha landed a job in her hometown of Toronto at the Chum mother-ship, writing for CityPulse at Six, CityPulse Tonight and CP24. She then stepped in front of the camera as a reporter for The New PL in London, Ontario. Jumping ship for a short time, she was also a reporter for Global News in Winnipeg. She's now happy to be back in the Chum family.
Education:
University of Windsor, Honours Communications.
Extracurricular:
Asha loves to "bust a move!" Dancing since the age of six, it's in her blood. She teaches hip hop and Caribbean dance to kids and adults alike, and has hosted workshops for underprivileged children.
