10 WednesdayIn this lighthearted dramedy, a famous 33-year-old relationship expert and best-selling author, Marin Frist, finds out that her fiancé is cheating on her, only four weeks before their highly publicized New York wedding. Unfortunately, she is on her way to a speaking engagement/book signing in remote Elmo, Alaska, when she gets this bit of bad news. After discovering that Prada heels are less than practical in no-frills Elmo, Marin begins to question the glib advice she has been dishing out to single women all these years. Confronted with the cold reality of her situation - and of her awe-inspiring natural surroundings - Marin cancels her appearance on "Oprah" when she realizes that there may actually be a more pressing need for her up north, especially considering she's now a major commodity, thanks to the 10-to-1 ratio of men to women there. Not only does she find a striking abundance of relationship-challenged males in dire need of her skills, there just might be one special guy for her amongst the earthy, offbeat residents of Elmo.
