Culinary Adventure: Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ever wonder how Asian restaurants prepare their flavour-infused dipping sauces? In this edition of "Culinary Adventure," Chef Brad Smoliak whips together a sauce with either a bit or a lot of kick!

Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 tsp  crushed red pepper (or more if you want a spicier kick)
  •           juice of 3 limes
  • ¼ cup fish sauce
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic

Directions:

Add above ingredients to a glass jar and shake, shake, shake!
