In this edition of the Fast 50 Files where we profile the fastest growing companies in the province, we visit High Arctic, an oil rigging company in Red Deer with big assets and a big heart.

High Arctic's technology has turned it into one of Canada's leading oil and gas service companies. Last year, revenues topped $82 million dollars with projects in Thailand, Dubai, and Paupa New Guinea on-the-go.

Workers are given intensive, hands-on training to learn the ropes of High Artctic's innovative technology of freeze tapping. But the push to challenge each other goes beyond just business goals. A weight loss challenge was kick started in May to raise money for cancer.
