In this week's edition of Celebrity Chefs, two country cuties are rounding up the perfect breakfast.
Brett is holding his 18th birthday bash at the Winspear on Friday. To celebrate, he's releasing his latest album, "My Roots Run Deep." Of course, Miss Rodeo Canada will be making an appearance.
Jenna & Brett's Mixed Berry Butter Crunch Parfaits
1 cup flour
1/2 c brown sugar
1/3 c chopped pecans/walnuts
1/2 c cold butter
1 1/2 c fiber cereal
1/3 c flaked coconut
12 oz raspberry yogurt
1 1/2 c berries
splash of vanilla
1. Heat oven to 400F. In large bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, nuts, and vanilla. Cut in butter using pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Stir in cereal and coconut. Spread on 13x9" pan.
2. Bake 15 minutes stirring once. Remove from oven; stir and cool for 10-15 minutes.
3. In each of 6 parfait glasses, layer 1-2 T cereal mix, 3 oz yogurt and 2T berries. Repeat layers. Top each with 1T cereal mixture. Garnish with berries.
Brett & Jenna's Egg Bake
5 eggs
diced ham, tomatoes, onions
dillweed
salt and pepper to taste
shredded cheddar cheese
Whisk eggs, meat, veggies and spices together. add some cheese and mix well. pour mixture into pan. bake at -- F for 20 minutes. Sprinkle cheese on top and broil until cheese is melted.
