Ben Henderson and Laurie Blakeman are Edmonton's newest political power couple. He's a city councillor, and she's an MLA. Together they chew the fat, or lack thereof, in this edition of Celebrity Chefs.
Ben Henderson's Squash Soup
4 cup buttercup squash, cubed
1 medium onion
1 clove garlic
1 cube chicken boullion
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp fresh ginger
Throw ingredients into pot. Fill with water until veggies are covered. Simmer until ingredients are soft. Puree with blender. You can add water to desired consistency.
