Citytv presents the 1st Annual Deals for Meals at the Delta Calgary South, on Saturday August 30th, 2008. Dig in your closets, sort through your basement and find some high quality garage/ estate sale items to donate.

Drop off your items at Citytv Calgary (535 7th Ave S.W.) between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. until Thursday August 28th, 2008. Or Drop them off on Friday, August 29th from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Delta Calgary South, located at (135 Southland Drive S.E.).

Please do not use this sale as a means to dump your garbage. Remember if you wouldn’t buy it at a sale, someone else won’t either.

All proceeds from this sale will support the Calgary Food Bank. We will also accept non-perishable food items or cash donations for those in need.

Remember you must pack your items carefully! A list of items that we will accept for sale is listed here.

Where to drop off your items:

OPTION #1

From Monday, August 18th to Thursday, August 28th drop off your items to Citytv Calgary, located at 535 7th Ave S.W., Calgary, Alberta [map], T2P 0Y4 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

OPTION #2

On Friday, August 29th, 2008, drop off your items at the Delta Calgary South, Atrium Entrance at 135 Southland Drive S.E.[map]. Hours are between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. for drop off only.

*PLEASE make sure to pack your items carefully. They must be wrapped carefully and or boxed. We want to ensure that donations make it safely to the Delta Calgary South, for the Sale on August, 30th, 2008.

THE SALE DAY

On Saturday, August 30th, 2008 come down to the Delta Calgary South, located at 135 Southland Drive S.E. [map] Citytv's Deals for Meals Garage/ Estate Sale will be held in the Atrium entrance.

Citytv's "Deals for Meals" Sale is from 9-5 p.m. on Saturday August 30th, 2008 ONLY.

TAX RECEIPTS

Tax receipts from the Calgary Food Bank will not be issued for items donated to be sold at Deals for Meals or items purchased at the Delta South Hotel on Saturday, August 30th, 2008.

A tax receipt from the Calgary Food Bank can be issued for any cash donation of $20.00 or more at Citytv's Deals for Meals at the Delta South on Saturday, August 30th.
