Week 7 - Queen of His Heart During this 3-hour season finale, Charlie had one-on-one dates with Krisily and Sarah B. and the girls got a chance to meet his family and freinds. The fact that both ladies got along well with Charlie's family made it extremely difficult for him to make a decision. However, after doing things his way - eliminating the pomp and circumstance of limos, gowns and long drawn out traditional rose ceremonies - Charlie was able to make a solid decision. At last night's Rose Ceremony, all eyes were on Charlie, when he named Sarah B. the queen of his heart and with tears in his eyes he exclaimed, "Oh, I'm going to cry before I even start. I love you... and I promise that I'm going to be the greatest boyfriend to you ever... and I'm so happy that you came on this show.” With that said, he handed Sarah B. a promise ring and pronounced on LIVE TV, "So, I got you a ring and I know there's a lot of pressure, but we're going to call it a promise ring... and we can finally be just me and you." After four long months, two months longer then the norm for this series, Charlie chose 24-year-old Sarah B.. Extending the series by two extra months gave Charlie the chance to date both women outside of the Bachelor environment - which gave them the freedom to act like normal couples and to do the things couples do - like talking on the phone, going to the movies and most important, it gave Charlie an opportunity to determine who he was most compatible with and which woman could truly have a future with him. Krisily parted without any regrets or harsh feelings and wished the happy couple the best of luck. |
