TWIGGY

Twiggy makes her debut as a judge in the fifth cycle of America’s Next Top Model.

Twiggy, a native of North London, England, graced the covers of virtually every magazine, including Vogue, Elle, McCall’s, Seventeen and Newsweek. She became a living icon in the fashion world in the mid-1960’s and at the age of 17, she became known as the world’s first teenage supermodel.

After retiring from the modeling business in 1970, she focused on acting in film, stage and television. Her film credits include Boy Friend," "The Doctor and the Devils," "Madam Sousatzka" and "The Blues Brothers." Her television credits include "The Little Match Girl," "Young Charlie Chapman" and her own ITV chat shows "Twiggy's People" and "Take Time with Twiggy."

Twiggy is an ardent supporter of animal welfare, an anti-fur campaigner and is known for her support of breast cancer research groups. She currently resides in London with her husband actor/director Leigh Lawson. They have two adult children.

J. ALEXANDER

J. Alexander, acknowledged modeling expert, returns as the all-knowing yet unpredictable runway coach and new judge in the fifth cycle of America’s Next Top Model.

Alexander began his career gracing the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier in New York City. After a modeling stint in Tokyo, he decided to settle in Paris, and since 1991, is a preferred contact for casting and coaching runway models for well-known designers, including Valentino, Galliano, Bill Blass, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Nina Ricci.

His outlandish style, compassion for beginning models and ability to easily improve elegance and movement on the catwalk, has put him in high demand in the world of fashion and modeling.

Television, newspaper and magazine journalists often frequent Alexander's studio to tap into his unique talent and secrets of runway success. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling the world for modeling competitions and charity events.


NIGEL BARKER

Nigel Barker, renowned high fashion photographer, born in London, England, returns as a judge for the fifth cycle of America's Next Top Model.

In the mid 1980s he appeared on The Clothes Show, a televised model search in England, which launched a successful modeling career and took him all over the world working for fashion giants such as Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gaultier, Kenzo, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren.

By 1996, Barker moved behind the camera and launched his own photo studio, Studio NB, in Manhattan's fashionable Meat Packing District.

Barker has nurtured many modeling careers over the years, with a keen eye for recognizing client needs and casting the perfect person for each project.


JAY MANUEL

Jay Manuel, Photoshoot Stylist and Make Up Artist, returns to direct participant's to capture perfect photo shoots during the fifth cycle of America's Next Top Model.

Manuel is a thoughtful make-up artist and photo director who offers his sharp tongue, colorful commentary and industry expertise to help transform the girls from bland to glam.

Manuel has worked in "the business of managing the aesthetic" for seven years. His list of clients have included Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Victoria's Secret and Revlon. Manuel has also had the opportunity to work with such noted photographers as Herb Ritts, Richard Avedon, Annie Leibovitz, and Francesco Scavullo to name a few.

His varied artistic palate and innate sense of aesthetics are always in high demand by celebrities including Tyra Banks, Alicia Silverstone, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, Mya, Kim Cattrall, Iman, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and Vanessa Williams.
