What is MovieTelevision?
It is a behind the scenes show focusing on giving the audience an inside look at the process of making movies.
What will I see when I tune in?
One of the major aims of the show is to focus on the Canadian local film scenes in every city across the country. (check out this week's show - its almost all Canadian and we have stories from Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver) - but we want you to be updated on all the big Hollywood films as well and we are there on set here at home and around the world!
How else do you celebrate Canadian film?
Funny - you should ask! Every year, in September during the Toronto International Film Festival, we broadcast an hour and a half special celebrating all the Canadian films at the festival...Done in typical CITY style, we have a huge party/live show and all the movers and shakers in the film industry drop by. It is the party to be at during the film fesitval.
How many people work on MovieTelevision?
We have a lean crew of 6 people plus an incredible camera unit and postproduction team that work with us on a daily basis.
We also have field crews all around the world to keep us on top of the movie scene internationally.
