Paulina Porizkova

International supermodel Paulina Porizkova has graced the covers of magazines worldwide for more than a decade. She began modeling at the age of 15 and quickly rose to the top of her profession.

She segued into acting in the title role of Anna, written by Agnieska Holland and directed by Yurek Bogayevicz, which garnered her wide critical acclaim. She next starred opposite Tom Selleck in Her Alibi, directed by Bruce Beresford. She appeared in a co-starring role in Arizona Dreams, starring Johnny Depp and directed by Emir Kusturica.

After taking some time off to start a family, Porizkova returned to the movies with Female Perversions, starring Tilda Swinton. She then starred in Dana Lustig's Wedding Bell Blues, with Julie Warner and Ileana Douglas, followed by Skip Woods' Thursday with Aaron Eckhart and Thomas Jane. Porizkova also starred in Long Time Since, directed by Jay Anania. Thursday and Long Time Since both screened in the 1998 Toronto Film Festival. After taking another break to have her second child, Porizkova made her return to the screen appearing in L'Interne, which was an Official 2000 Sundance Film Festival Selection. She also starred in After the Rain, written by Jerome Ehlers and produced by Jackie O'Sullivan; Nearest to Heaven, directed by Tonie Marshall; People I Know, alongside Al Pacino; Second Best with Joe Pantoliano, and the independent comedy Knots, with John Stamos.

Porizkova was recently seen on Dancing with the Stars. She also wrote the novel A Model Summer for Hyperion books.

Porizkova lives with her family in New York City.

J.ALEXANDER

J. Alexander began his career gracing the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier in New York City. After a modeling stint in Tokyo, he eventually decided to settle in Paris, and since 1991, is a preferred contact for casting and coaching runway models for well-known designers, including Valentino, Galliano, Bill Blass, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Nina Ricci.

His compassion for beginning models and ability to easily improve elegance and movement on the catwalk, combined with his outlandish sense of style, has put him in high demand in the world of fashion and modeling.

Alexander's studio is a frequent stop for television, newspaper and magazine journalists looking to capture his unique talent and secrets of runway success. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling the world for modeling competitions and charity events.

NIGEL BARKER

Nigel Barker was born in London and educated in the English countryside. His introduction to the fashion industry was in the mid-1980s when he appeared on The Clothes Show, a televised model search in England. This launched his successful modeling career, which took him all over the world working for Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gaultier, Kenzo, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren.

After a decade in front of the camera, Barker followed his dream to become a photographer and moved to the other side of the lens. By 1996, Barker had launched his own photo studio, Studio NB, in Manhattan's fashionable meat packing district.

Barker's work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including Oyster, Interview, Paper Mag, (t)here, Black & White, Instinct, Zink, Angeleno and Playboy, among others. Barker's clients include Saks Fifth Avenue, Nicole Miller, Gortex and Bulgari, to list a few.

Barker has been a great help to many models over the years, carefully nurturing their careers while satisfying clients with his keen eye for casting the perfect person for each project. Because of his background, Barker brings a unique sensitivity to the relationships he forms with his subjects. He plays the role of a director, pouring his energy into coaxing out the inner beauty in every subject he shoots.

He currently resides in New York with his wife, Cristen.

JAY MANUEL

Jay Manuel is no stranger to "the business of managing the esthetic," as he calls it. With an eye for creating stunning conceptual direction, Manuel has spent more than a decade in the word of high fashion and beauty, both in front of and behind the cameras.

Manuel is also the host of the makeover series Style Her Famous and fashion correspondent for E! Networks. He can be seen on the red carpet as part of the network's team covering The Primetime Emmy Awards, The Golden Globe Awards, The Grammy Awards and The Academy Awards. He served as host of Style Rocks the Red Carpet for New York Fashion Week in 2006 and 2007 and continues to co-host the Fashion Police E! red carpet specials.

In 2007, Jay returned home to Canada to take on the role as host/executive producer of Canada's Next Top Model.

A fashion and beauty expert who began his career as a makeup artist, Manuel's unique vision as creative director and producer have contributed to the success of ten popular seasons of America's Next Top Model. His artistry and expertise has been seen on the covers of the world's most celebrated fashion magazines and on the runways of the industry's top designers. Having built a career on calculated risk-taking, extreme good taste and an exquisite eye for what the public wants next, his counsel and talent is sought by celebrities, photographers and advertising executives the world over.

Manuel has appeared on The Tyra Banks Show, Eve, The 2006 Much Music Video Awards, The 2007 Much Music Video Awards and hosted Exposed: 25 Most Notorious Moments of Fashion Week. He has worked with the world's most celebrated photographers, including Herb Ritts, Annie Leibovitz and Richard Avedon, and has created "the look" for a long list of stars and models, including Tyra Banks, Jennifer Lopez, Iman, Rebecca Romijn, Pink, Kim Cattrall, Alicia Silverstone, David Bowie, Rupert Everett and Rosario Dawson.

In 2006, Jay launched his own line of cosmetics, Manual Override, an innovative new product line designed to enhance the makeup women already use -- something that is sure to revolutionize the industry.
