Paulina PorizkovaInternational supermodel Paulina Porizkova has graced the covers of magazines worldwide for more than a decade. She began modeling at the age of 15 and quickly rose to the top of her profession. She segued into acting in the title role of Anna, written by Agnieska Holland and directed by Yurek Bogayevicz, which garnered her wide critical acclaim. She next starred opposite Tom Selleck in Her Alibi, directed by Bruce Beresford. She appeared in a co-starring role in Arizona Dreams, starring Johnny Depp and directed by Emir Kusturica. After taking some time off to start a family, Porizkova returned to the movies with Female Perversions, starring Tilda Swinton. She then starred in Dana Lustig's Wedding Bell Blues, with Julie Warner and Ileana Douglas, followed by Skip Woods' Thursday with Aaron Eckhart and Thomas Jane. Porizkova also starred in Long Time Since, directed by Jay Anania. Thursday and Long Time Since both screened in the 1998 Toronto Film Festival. After taking another break to have her second child, Porizkova made her return to the screen appearing in L'Interne, which was an Official 2000 Sundance Film Festival Selection. She also starred in After the Rain, written by Jerome Ehlers and produced by Jackie O'Sullivan; Nearest to Heaven, directed by Tonie Marshall; People I Know, alongside Al Pacino; Second Best with Joe Pantoliano, and the independent comedy Knots, with John Stamos. Porizkova was recently seen on Dancing with the Stars. She also wrote the novel A Model Summer for Hyperion books. Porizkova lives with her family in New York City. |

NIGEL BARKERNigel Barker was born in London and educated in the English countryside. His introduction to the fashion industry was in the mid-1980s when he appeared on The Clothes Show, a televised model search in England. This launched his successful modeling career, which took him all over the world working for Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gaultier, Kenzo, Donna Karan and Ralph Lauren. After a decade in front of the camera, Barker followed his dream to become a photographer and moved to the other side of the lens. By 1996, Barker had launched his own photo studio, Studio NB, in Manhattan's fashionable meat packing district. Barker's work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including Oyster, Interview, Paper Mag, (t)here, Black & White, Instinct, Zink, Angeleno and Playboy, among others. Barker's clients include Saks Fifth Avenue, Nicole Miller, Gortex and Bulgari, to list a few. Barker has been a great help to many models over the years, carefully nurturing their careers while satisfying clients with his keen eye for casting the perfect person for each project. Because of his background, Barker brings a unique sensitivity to the relationships he forms with his subjects. He plays the role of a director, pouring his energy into coaxing out the inner beauty in every subject he shoots. He currently resides in New York with his wife, Cristen. |
