A low tracking into central Ontario is bringing overnight rain and strong Wednesday winds. Rainfall now looks a little lighter for Toronto but there's still a risk of isolated thunderstorms around the region. Generally 5-10 mm is expected in a widespread way. The steady rain should taper off by about 3 AM. Winds will become westerly and then northwesterly with gusts at least in the 60 km/h range. Don't be shocked if you see a few unhealthy trees down. Thursday will be fairly nice with sun breaking through and temperatures popping up into the teens. Another round of rain will hit the area Friday. Rain could get fairly heavy in advance of the cold front coming through. This should happen early in the afternoon. Winds will again pick up as the system moves east. Saturday as a result will be cool and windy. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the single digits. Sunday will have more sun and light winds but still be cooler than normal. I may try to get out for a water ski Sunday but I'll probably wimp out and wear a dry suit. Thanksgiving Monday looks like it's going to stay chilly and we could see a few showers.
