1.    Contest starts at 6:00 pm on Wednesday October 27, 2010 and continues until Wednesday November 3, 2010 at 11:59 pm (the “Contest Closing Date”). All times are Eastern.  No purchase necessary.  Only one (1) entry per person per day. All times are Eastern Times.

Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter more than once per person, any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or any entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will void all of your entries. This Contest is sponsored by Citytv (“Citytv”) a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited.

(a)    To enter, email us at news.to@citynews.ca and tell us why you love the Bills and the NFL in Toronto.  Please include your daytime phone number. Submit it as instructed by the Contest Closing Date

All photographs submitted, and all concepts or ideas depicted therein, become the sole property of Citytv, together with its parent and affiliate companies, representatives and agents, directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees and assigns (collectively “Rogers”) and will not be acknowledged or returned.  By submitting photographs, entrants grant Rogers permission to use the photographs for any purpose and in any media whatsoever, without additional compensation.  Any person featured in any photograph submitted (or parent or legal guardian if such person is a minor) must have provided his/her consent to entrant for the submission of his/her image in this Contest.  By entering this Contest, entrants represent that they have received this consent.  Failure to obtain such consent will deem the entry ineligible.  By submitting an entry or accepting any prize, entrants also represent and warrant that all photographs submitted by the entrant have not been copied in whole or in part from any other work, do not violate or infringe any copyright, moral right, trademark or other proprietary right of any person or entity, and are, together with the copyright and moral rights therein, the sole and exclusive property of the entrant.  Entrants assume all risk of lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible entries.  By submitting photographs, entrants waive, as against Citytv, all claim of copyright and moral rights in the photographs pertaining to Citytv use or reproduction of the photographs for any purpose and in any media whatsoever, without further compensation to entrants.  Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Citytv for any action brought by a person whose consent was not obtained by entrant or by any person claiming that (i) its intellectual property rights, including without limitation, copyright, moral right (including rights of integrity, attribution and anonymity), trademark rights, or (ii) its personality or privacy rights, are infringed by Citytv’s use or reproduction of a submitted photograph.

(b) A random draw by a representative of Citytv, a division of Rogers Broadcasting Limited (“Citytv”) from all eligible entries received will be made daily at 4PM from October 28 to November 3, 2010 at 33 Dundas St. E, Toronto, Ontario. Selected entrants will be contacted by telephone, as indicated on their entry ballot.

    (c)    If a selected entrant cannot be reached within three (3) days following the draw, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, or fails to return a release of liability as specified below, another entrant will be selected.

      (d)  Participants are eligible to win one (1) of 100 prizes having an approximate retail value of  $150, and consists of a single ticket to the Bills/Bears NFL Football game at the Rogers Centre on November 7th.

    Prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part, for cash, subject to the provisions set forth elsewhere in these rules.  

(e)  Prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged. Citytv reserve the right to substitute a prize of at least equal or greater value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever the reason, of the advertised price.

 3.    To be declared a winner, selected entrant must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question posed by telephone at a mutually convenient time and may also need to return a signed release of liability and acknowledgment form.  Contest judges' rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the promotion and the awarding of prizes.
 4.    By entering this Contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence and/or any photograph of or that may be taken in publicity carried out by the Citytv and its advertising agencies, without further notice or compensation.  
 5.    This Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario, who are over the age of majority as of the date of entry, excluding employees of the Citytv, its parent and affiliated companies, representatives, dealers and agents, Contest suppliers and judges, and those with whom they are domiciled.  The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.  
 6.    No communications will be entered into except with selected entrant.  
 7.    Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.  All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Citytv.  Citytv takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors.  Citytv is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this Contest.  All entries become the property of the Citytv and will not be returned.
 8.    Citytv is collecting personal data about entrants for the purpose of administering this Contest.  No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Citytv with explicit permission to do so as indicated on the entry form. Please see Citytv’s Privacy Policy at http://www.rogerspublishing.ca/privacy.htm for information on its policies towards maintaining the privacy and security of user information.
 9.  By entering this Contest, entrants release and hold harmless Citytv, their advertising and promotional agencies and the Contest judge(s), their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this Contest or, if declared a winner, the prize(s).  Before being declared a winner, entrants may be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, a Declaration of Compliance with the Contest Rules and a full Liability and Publicity Release.  By accepting a prize, winner consents to the use of their name, place of residence, voice, statements, photographs or other likenesses for publicity, advertising or informational purposes in any medium or format without further compensation or notice.
10.    This Contest will be run in accordance with these rules, subject to amendment by Citytv.  Contestants must comply with these rules, and will be deemed to have received and understood the rules by participating in the Contest.  The terms of this Contest, as set out in these rules, are not subject to amendment or counter-offer, except as set out herein.
11. (a)  Citytv assumes no responsibility for failure of the internet or the website during the promotional period, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any material in the promotion.  The Citytv reserve the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Contest. Any attempt to deliberately damage any web site or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws.  Should such an attempt be made, Citytv reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.  

    (b)  If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant.  The individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address is considered the authorized account holder.  A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry.  All entries must be submitted from a valid e-mail account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this Contest will be the Contest server machine(s).
