Boy band mega mogul Lou Pearlman is saying "bye bye bye" to life as a free man.

Pearlman, who created the Backstreet Boys and 'Nsync, is facing 25 years in prison. The sentence stems from four federal charges: two counts of conspiracy, and one each of money laundering and using false statements in a bankruptcy proceeding.

He was convicted in an Orlando, Florida court. The charges stem from what prosecutors alleged was a decades-long investment scam.

However, he does have the option of reducing his jail time. Judge G Kendall Sharp said that for every $1 million Pearlman returns to investors, he'll cut the sentence by one month.
