Science fiction writer Robert J. Sawyer has penned eighteen novels in his career so far including the popular FlashForward series (which is now a television show airing on ABC), the award-winning Mindscan, and the recent novel WWW: Wake (which is part of a trilogy about the World Wide Web of the future). He's also a huge fan of sci-fi films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Planet of the Apes, Star Trek and the Terminator movies, and has a lot of ideas about what's in store for the future of mankind.
