CityNews Writer Now Has His Own Sandwich At Downtown Lunch Spot

We all have our special talents, and for one CityNews writer, that talent is eating.

Local eatery Fusaro's Kitchen heard about Romas Zabas's hefty appetite and issued him a culinary double dare.

They said that if Romas could eat two of their massive meatball sandwiches in less than an hour they'd rename the sandwich "The Romas."

Well it took Mr. Zabas a little over half an hour and both sandwiches were off the plate and in his belly. Staffers at the Spadina and Queen-area hot table then immortalized him on the chalkboard, dedicating the sandwich to him.

As a side bonus, Romas gets free sandwiches there for a week - no word on whether they all have to be the meatball variety.
