A former “Biggest Loser” believes her experience losing more than 100 pounds in front of a North American television audience will help others do the same.

Two years after Ali Vincent won the title, “The Biggest Loser” on the reality show of the same name, she travels the continent teaching people about fitness and wellness and inspires them to change their lives.

“I don't know if I was heavy because I was unhappy or unhappy because I was heavy. Both were true,” she admits.

“What I do know now is my body is a direct example of how I felt.”

She has written a book about her experience and will be running the Boston Marathon in April with five other previous contestants from the show. All proceeds will go to charity.

"The Biggest Loser" airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Citytv.
