Can't Win: As City Sprays Trash, Residents Upset About Pesticide Use

The City just can't win.

When Toronto first announced its plan to turn parks into temporary dump sites, residents were understandably upset.

There was concern about the stench, about health hazards, and the loss of green space at the height of summer.

Now that officials have sent in contractors to spray the trash to prevent a possible infestation, those who live nearby are once again up in arms.
