StreetBeat – Nov. 7 – Elderly Pedestrians Struck By Car

Toronto police are investigating after two elderly pedestrians were struck by a vehicle on Steeles Avenue at Brimley Road.

The 80-year-old man and 78-year-old woman were walking across Steeles when the driver of a Lexus SUV allegedly struck them while making a left turn from southbound Brimley onto Steeles.

The pair were crossing on a green light within the designated lines at the time. They remain in serious condition in hospital.
