Three Arrested In Peel Homicide

Peel's Latest Murder Victim Identified

Three people have been arrested in connection with a murder in Peel.

Andres David Buritica-Marin, 25, is the eighth person to person to be killed in the region in 2009.

Buritica-Marin was found outside an apartment building on Shipp Dr. around 10pm on Tuesday, June 2. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, he died in hospital the next day. He had been fatally shot.

Collin Nathan Theodore Reid, 45, was arrested on Thursday. He has been charged with Second Degree Murder.

On Friday, homicide detectives remanded two other suspects into custody. 

Denton McKenzie, 49, has been charged with First Degree Murder.

Police allege that McKenzie uses several aliases, including Hugh Linton, Hugh Linton Semoy, Fred Cash and the street name "Cash".

McKenzie's wife, Carolyn Alexander, 38, has been charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder.
