A young man in his 20s has died after being shot at a Scarborough apartment complex Friday night.

Emergency crews and police from 43 Division were called to the scene at 70 Stevenvale Dr around 8pm. That’s in the Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road area.

Police say when the arrived, they found the victim in the lobby, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the neck and head.

He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital with no vital signs.

The victim later died of his injuries.
