Police Hunt For Suspects After Separate Stabbings In West End

Police are searching for two suspects after separate stabbings early Saturday morning.

The first happened around 4am near Oakwood and Eglinton avenues, with a 42-year-old man attacked with a broken bottle and slashed across the face.

An hour later, just down the street near Northcliffe Blvd., a 38-year-old man was reportedly stabbed in front of the Maria Shchuka Library.

After a brief conversation with the suspect, the victim began to leave. It was then, police say, the suspect stabbed the victim and fled the scene.

The suspect in the second stabbing is described as:

  • Male
  • White
  • 30-40 years
  • 5'11"
  • Skinny build
  • Last seen wearing a baseball cap and a black short-sleeve shirt
