Toronto police have identified the city’s latest murder victim who was shot to death in Scarborough Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to Blackwater Crescent around 10:50pm after reports of gun shots. That’s in the Sheppard Avenue and Neilson Road area.

They discovered a young man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified Monday as Joel Waldron, 20, of Toronto.

Two young men approached Waldron and then one allegedly pulled out a gun and fired at him. The suspects quickly fled the scene and were arrested, police said.
