Police say they know who they're looking for following a knife attack in North York that's left a 13-year-old boy in hospital in critical condition.
The stabbing happened Tuesday night at a high rise apartment on Chalkfarm Drive, near Jane and Wilson.
The young victim was found just before 7pm outside a 15th-floor elevator suffering from knife wounds to the neck and chest. Police say they've reviewed video surveillance tapes.
"At this time the investigations show that it appeared that an argument broke out between some young males over some beer," Sgt. Gino Pulla said. "Videos have been seized and we're now in the process of viewing them."
Detectives are looking for a suspect named Marcus. He's described as:
- Black, light-complexion
- 19-years-old
- 5'6", medium build
- Short, black hair
Authorities say he was wearing a white T-shirt and black track pants.
