It was only at one store and there was nothing dangerous about what was inside.
But Canadian authorities aren't taking any chances after someone tampered with some cans of baby formula.
The altered containers of Nestle's Good Start Iron Fortified powder were found at a Kingston area Wal-Mart.
Someone opened up a tin and poured what appears to be flour inside. Whoever did it hid their actions fairly well. The cut they made to get into the can was hidden by the label.
No one has been injured in the incident and there's no suggestion that other cans may have been affected. But experts at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency aren't willing to take any chances.
They're asking parents who use the product to carefully examine any cans under the labels. If they see anything that looks suspicious, they should immediately stop using the formula.
The lone instance has been referred to police for further investigation.
