Toronto police have identified the city’s latest murder victim, a young man shot to death in Rexdale Saturday morning.

Emergency crews were called to the scene at an apartment building on Bergamot Avenue around midnight.

When they arrived, they found a young man in the building’s first-floor hallway suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

The victim has now been identified as Jordan Telfer, 21, of Toronto.

There’s no word on suspects, or what may have sparked the violence.
