A man is facing more than five dozen firearms and drugs charges after authorities claim to have found a cache of loaded guns and cocaine at a Mississauga condominium.
Officers from the Peel Region and Hamilton police gang units executed search warrants at a condo on Living Arts Drive and in its storage locker last Thursday.
Cops allegedly found crack, cocaine and marijuana in the house and nine guns in the storage locker, including a fully automatic 9mm machine gun pistol; a loaded 9mm Beretta pistol; a loaded .38 calibre Smith and Wesson pistol; a 9mm P.A.K. semi-automatic pistol and a loaded .357 Magnum XD Springfield semi-automatic pistol and magazine.
Police also claim to have found over 200 rounds of ammunition, all compatible with the firearms seized.
Samir Abdelgadir, 30, is facing 63 charges. He was arrested at a Hamilton apartment along with two other men and he's being held in custody pending a special bail hearing.
The two other men, ages 25 and 28, arrested June 9 in connection to this investigation haven't been named. They're facing drug charges.
